What we're facing in our country today on our college campuses is a monster of our own making. Just as King David's undisciplined son Adonijah rose up in his youth and declared himself to be king, our undisciplined and overindulged younger generation has now rose up to declare itself supreme and us its mere subjects (1 Kings 1:5-6). Unfortunately, even the church has played a role in creating this generation of Adonijahs, by compromising the Christian faith, in hopes of appeasing our children to continue attending our church services. However, what we've done is compromised our faith, corrupted Christ's Gospel, and lost our churches, our country, and our children.

While Hezbollah flags are now being waved and Hamas headbands are now being worn on our college campuses, college administrations are not only negotiating with terrorist sympathizing students who have taken over their campuses, but also, at least in one instance, at Columbia University, negotiating with a young genocidal maniac, who says we should be glad and grateful that he has not yet gone out to murder some Jews. You know as well as I do that this avowed antisemite should be immediately expelled from Columbia rather than in charge of its campus and parleying with its president. Yet, instead of being put in his place, he has taken over the place, which is the inevitable consequence of crowning rather than chastening and correcting an Adonijah. What's worse is the fact that we've not just fathered one Adonijah, like David, but a whole generation of them, who have now arisen to autocratically assert themselves to be our kings.
