Beneath the bleeding-hearts of liberals are the same black hearts we've seen beating throughout human history in the breasts of Utopiansthose who believe humanity can create its own heaven on earth by simply submitting to the totalitarianism of Utopianism. Regardless of the form it takes—communism, socialism or some other “ism”—Utopianism inevitably creates hell on earth rather than heaven on earth, a fact incontrovertibly proven by more than thirty-five hundred years of recorded human history.

Instead of peace on earth, Utopianism always results in Machiavellian bloodshed, which is proven by the likes of Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot. Of course, in the minds of Utopians, bloodshed is justified as a necessary evil, the only means of removing from this earth those refusing to bend their knee to the Utopians’ dream of a brave new world and paradisiacal planet. Mass murder becomes humane in the minds of Utopians as the only means of creating worldwide peace and prosperity. It is therefore believed by demented Utopians that their slaughter and subjugation of their fellowman is being perpetrated by them for humanity’s sake.

The protests of traumatized liberal Utopians over the election of Donald Trump, the picture boy of political incorrectness, has now become rioting in the streets of America. According to law enforcement, things have escalated to threats, acts of violence, gun fire, fires, and the destruction of property. All of this is seen as permissible by present-day progressives, who find themselves dumbfounded at the audacity of the American voter to dare to deify today’s mandatory Social Marxism and its politically correct thought police.

Unbeknownst to the average American, as well as to our elected officials and new president elect, who so far has responded to the rioting as “unfair,” there is a simmering and boiling cauldron of unfathomable evil just beneath the surface of what is being perpetrated in our streets by America’s bleeding-heart peaceniks. As proof, consider the comments of a California protester who boldly declared that in order to change the world into conformity to the image of today’s Utopians, “People have to die!” In other words, all who refuse to conform and comply need to die. This woman wasn’t kidding; neither am I joking when I say that there is no less evil to be found in the fallen hearts of bleeding-heart Utopians than there is to be found in the fallen hearts of Islamic terrorists.

All that is happening on the streets of America today can be traced back to what happened under the shade of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. There, man usurped the place of God by appointing himself the final arbiter of right and wrong. He decided to live by his witswhat he thinks or human reasonrather than by God’s Wordwhat God says or divine revelation. Consequently, man fell into corruption, as did the whole of creation. Ever since then, as is clearly illustrated by the biblical story of the Tower of Babel, fallen man has been attempting in this fallen world to create not only his own heaven on earth through a one world government, but also his own way to heaven through a one world religion.

This poisonous root dug up from beneath the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as well as its accompanying Utopianism, which can be traced back to the Tower of Babel, is not only what lies beneath the surface of what we’re witnessing in America today, but is also the same fatal lie that has plagued fallen humanity ever since it was first told by the serpent in Eden and believed by our original parents, Adam and Eve. Furthermore, this deadly toxin lies beneath the surface undetected by America’s populace and politicians, because they, like the rioters in our streets, are also subscribers to its deadly doctrine. Granted, they may not be rioting in the streets, but they, nonetheless, are also adherents to the erroneous belief that fallen man can create for himself an Utopian society.

While those who believed Hillary Clinton and her progressive policies could transform America into an Utopian society are rioting, those who believe Donald Trump and his populist policies can transform American into an Utopian society are rejoicing. However, conspicuously absent from both political platforms is a call for our country to return to God, who our country has long since forsaken. Yet, folks on both sides of the political spectrum foolishly believe, despite the fact that our country has renounced Christ and is now ridiculing Christians, that America can be made great again by a president and his or her progressive or populist policies. I’m sorry, but as long as our country continues to crave the forbidden fruit of Eden, I see no greatness in America’s future, but only gloom, regardless of who occupies the Oval Office.
