1. According to the Bible, God created light before He created the sun, the moon, and the stars. He created every plant and herb before it was planted in the earth, before it rained to make things grow, and before He created man to till the ground. From this we learn that God’s original creation was supernaturally created apart from natural law. There was no slow evolution or natural selection, but instantaneous perfection. Likewise, we too, God’s new creation—recipients of a perfect work of God’s grace—have been supernaturally and instantaneously recreated in Christ at the instant of our conversion.
