PIECES TO THE PROPHETIC PUZZLE > A REBUILT JEWISH TEMPLE

How can a Rebuilt Jewish Temple, Built in Rejection of Jesus Christ, Serve as an End-Time House of God?
12 Sep 2019

After lamenting Jerusalem's rejection of Him, Christ said, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate" (Matthew 23:37-38). Notice, Christ refers to Christ-rejecting Jerusalem's temple as "your house," not "God's house." However, most modern-day evangelicals believe that a rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem, which will be rebuilt in absolute rejection of Jesus Christ, will serve as the end-time's house of God, in which the so-called "Antichrist" will commit abomination of desolation. The truth is, however, it would be an abomination in the eyes of God for a Jewish temple to be rebuilt in rejection of His Son and our Savior. Furthermore, how can abomination of desolation be committed in a rebuilt Jewish temple that will already be spiritually desolate, having been previously destroyed over only to be rebuilt again in total rejection of Jesus Christ?
